I was wondering if the plugin can do ...
... Reoccurring reminders, 30 days, 10 days 5 days etc?
... Does this work for just deposits or paying the remainder as well?
... Does the email provide a link back to the booking page?
... Does the email provide booking info or can the email be modified.

The only demo available is on JE Capella template demo site. If you make a booking there (and use a valid email), a payment reminder is sent after 1 day, and after 2 days the booking is cancelled (by the Unpaid Bookings Handler plugin).

The plugin doesn`t have recurring reminders support , but sounds like a good idea and I`ll probably add this sometime in the future.

The reminder works for deposits (charged at booking time). It is assumed that the rest of the payment is made in cash at arrival, or a full amount deposit is charged at booking time, case in which the reminder is not sent anymore.

The reminder email includes: guest name, booking number, arrival, departure, booking total and deposit required. The email layout can be modified by html and the content by custom coding (assuming that you know html and php)

1 last question is the product under GPL? Or if the coding was undertaken on my behalf and sent back to you afterwards would that be ok?

The plugin is GPL, the code is not encoded in any way so you can make any changes to it to suit your needs.
