hi piranha!
the plugins are working great!! good work! i just got a question for the payment reminder plugin... i added a second language [spanish]. I just duplicated the en-GB.php file, saved it to es-ES.php and is working almost perfectly... the only thing is that now, even when i make a test booking with english activated the payment reminder mail sent to the guest is in spanish... should i do something else? i don't know if i should add the spanish file to j00001payment_reminder_start.class.php file? thanks!! |

the payment reminder and unpaid bookings emails are sent in the default site language. there is no way to know in which language the user made the booking on a multilanguage site, because this info is never saved to the db.
My suggestion would be to keep en-GB.php as default and edit the email text so that you send one email that contains text in 2 languages. |

i wonder how are mail languages handled in jomres... they are actually sent depending on the language selected by the user... thanks, |

yes. for example the booking confirmation emails to user, hotel are sent in the active language that the user was using when he made the booking.
At a later time, if you want to send the confirmation letter, this letter will be sent using the language in which the receptionist/property owner is viewing the site at that time. I will ask Vince about a solution to save each guests`s spoken language in the db. It`s not a very difficult thing to achieve. |

ok... i now understand... and that'll be great!! because that way, if that change is also implemented in jomres, the confirmation letter could also be sent in the guest spoken language and not in the receptionist one...
thanks! |
