I'de like to if it's possible to change jomres's guest table so it uses joomla user's table instead.

I think I read your post on jomres.net too. Joomla`s user table contains less information than the jomres guests table, so it`s not such a good idea to use it instead of the default guests table. Better, you should consider using the CB user table, or the Jomsocial user table, because more details are stored here when a user registers on your site.

I just thought, once the connection is made with joomla's user table, every other components could be linked togheter, like CB, JoomSocial, SobiII, etc

It can be done, but unfortunately I don`t have the time available right now to start working on new projects. You can also post this on the Professional Services board on jomres.net.
